Making smart choices about technology

Misson & Vision

Our library mission is to provide students and staff with equitable access of resources, to promote an enthusiasm for reading as well as to dispense the knowledge of information literacy and critical thinking skills so that our patrons are effective users of information .  

Our vision is to create a 21st century environment that empowers students to become lifelong learners and responsible digital citizens who have an appreciation for literature.


 Fall in Love with a great book in the NBMS Media Center


Here’s how it works:

  1. Check out a book (any book you have NOT read before) from the NBMS Media Center anytime between October 18th-November 18th.

  2. Read the book.

  3. Write 2-3 sentences about what you LOVED about the book & why.

  4. Turn in your book review to Mrs. Woods or Mrs. Kennedy in the Media Center by November 21st

  5. Get invited to our cupcake party in the Media Center on November 29th!
